Description of how to implement in the class: Students will be given instructions on how to create a graph
of their choice (bar, line, pie, etc.) based on how many students in his or her class like a certain type of fruit
from the choices listed. They are to then jot down the different types of fruit along with the food count of each
student's particular choice. They will then access Graph Club 2.0 software and using the data they have
gathered they will create their very own graph that shows how each piece of information is being represented
(both numerically and graphically).
Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi): The LoTi that I chose was Integration (4) because students
are applying learning to the real world, learning becomes authentic and relevant, and teaching is student-
centered.
Description of the sample spreadsheet and graph/chart provided *: The sample graph provided is one
that a student would create on his or her own. What you see is simply one of the numerous possibilities that a
student can choose from and create using the information they collect from their classmates and plug into the
Graph Club software.
Other comments about your proposed spreadsheet/graph/chart activity: Graph Club 2.0 was used to
create the sample graph provided above.
