The Greatest Commandment

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and
confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each
day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker
on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional.
At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion
and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks
Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in
the foyer of Power Source.
Jesus commanded us to love each other just like He loved
us.
This is my commandment, that you love one another.
John 15:12
Jesus told His disciples that some people were going to take
Him away to be killed. His disciples couldnt understand why
anyone would want to kill Jesus. He was so kind to people
and healed so many, too. Things happened just like Jesus said.
He let the soldiers nail Him to the cross. He knew it was Gods
great plan for us. He chose to die for our sins because of His
great love for us. Three days later, Jesus was alive again! He
gave us the best gift of love ever.
Dear God,
You are the greatest love ever. Holy is Your Name. I
worship You with all my heart. Thank you for my parents,
teachers, friends and Pastor Ron and his family. May they
run and not be weary. May they walk and not faint. (Is.
40:31) Teach me to obey my parents so things will go well
with me and I will live a long life on the earth. (Eph. 6:2).
Help me love others like you love us. Thank you that
because of Jesus, I am healed and whole.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
Psalm 100:4
God, I enter your gates with thanksgiving and Your
courts with praise. I am thankful to You, God, and I bless
your name.
