Thank you for inquiring about my custom embroidery work. A sampler of some of my recent
work is available upon request and you will find a price list is included. I am always available and
willing to discuss and research any questions you may have.

I personally digitize all designs I embroider from artwork or sample patchwork that you provide to
me. This ensures the quality and accuracy of the service I provide. When doing club patchwork, I
will be happy to work with your 100% ready digitized embroidery file that is provided to me on CD
or on a flash drive in the .pes or .blf digitized format. The .pes format allows me no alterations,
whereas a file in the .blf format will allow me to make adjustments requested or needed in the
artwork. In the past I have found that not all artwork meets my criteria as well as being extremely
out of date, producing a finished product that I will not endorse. In this case, design and/or
digitizing charges will be billed. Custom work requires personal contact or high-resolution jpeg,
bmp, gif or Vector files. The bigger and cleaner the provided art, the easier it is to digitize and get
a quality result. A physical color sample is necessary, as photos do not justify true color. With
patchwork as my template, I can easily make any requested alterations, use proper colors,
determine correct size and use similar stitch type. All personal and club property is saved on
individual flash drives and secured in a full size fireproof safe on the premises. All practice sew
outs are done in an off color and all errors are destroyed once corrected.

I use only Hiwaymen patchwork as examples to protect the privacy of my other clients. A full
three-piece set of Hiwaymen patches is $150.00 and a set of property patches is $100.00, for
example. If the bottom rocker of the property is personalized, I need a copy of your alphabet or I
will need to design and digitize one at the current graphic design and digitizing rates. One single
color, three inch memory bar is a flat $2.00, regardless of the quantity. Commemorative patches
vary according to size, colors and design. All digitizing and embroidery fees are based on stitch
count and can only be determined after the file is digitized. There is one-time set-up and
digitizing fee for all new projects. Text only designs using a stock embroidery font and
embroidery ready files will not be charged design or digitizing fees.

GRAPHIC DESIGN AND PRE-PRODUCTION FEES FOR EMBROIDERY


Graphic Design Services
$60 per hour billed in 15 minute increments
The following work is covered under this billing:
Graphic or logo design and development
Design concept discussions (phone, e-mail or in person
Image scanning, typesetting and editing

Digitizing Fees
$15 per thousand stitches digitized with a minimum charge of $30
Stitch counts are estimated by the size and complexity of a design
Specialty jobs and/or oversized embroidery will be quoted by the job

Embroidery Fees
$2 per 1000 stitches
$3 for each color change
Rush completion add 20%
Specialty fabric and leather add 20%
Metallic thread add 20%
Discount given for quantity over 100 items
Typically I will sew on items I have produced, at no charge, when picked up
within a reasonable time frame
Shipping is not included and is your responsibility.

Sewing Fees
$10 per hour


All fees are due upon receipt.
A deposit may be required on large orders.
