Topic: Hair
Target Audience: 16+ Male and Female
Channel: Channel 4
Schedule Time/Day: 8pm, Wednesday
Title of Program: Split Ends

The topic for our A-Level Media Studies Documentary
will be Hair. We have chosen this as it has a wide
range/ variety of different sub topics relating to hair
e.g. Colour, Cut, Hair Dressers etc.
We have decided to target this documentary at Males
and Female audiences from ages 16+. That way we
have incorporate and broadcast to a range of people
and make it much easier for people to relate too and
keep it factual and fun.
The channel we have decided to broadcast our
documentary on is Channel 4, it is a family program
and caters for varying audience categories and
broadcasts a number of documentaries that are well
known.
The scheduling day and time the program will be
broadcast is on a Wednesday at 8pm and will last
30 Mins in total, we decided this so the documentary
will be broadcast at this time as it will be watched
before the popular show Grand Designs on Channel 4
at 9pm, this is also known as pre echoing.
