Lesson Introduction
- Teacher to show world map to class.
- Teacher tells students about the origin of ASEAN.

Lesson proper
Research:
- Class to look at the 10 ASEAN countries.
- Teacher to read the riddles given in ppt. to guess the country
he/she is from. This exercise is to help students identify the
costumes and the flags of the 10 ASEAN countries.

Class discussion: Mix and match
- Teacher to get students to match the flags with the names of the
countries.

Closure
- Teacher to get students to find pictures of costumes or
information about ASEAN country from magazines/newspapers
at home. They can also bring photos of the 10 ASEAN
countries they have been to.
- If the child cannot find pictures, they may paste coloured papers
over the template given to make a dolly.


Follow-up in next SS/Art lesson:

- Pupils to compile what they have found and make a poster.
- Ss teachers to collect and select 3 best pieces to be put up at
rainforest area from 8
