To whom it may concern:
Thank you for working with Melanie Grimm as she pursues an out-of-state/international student teaching placement through your placement office at the University of Northern Iowa. I am writing to verify Melanies eligibility to student teach through the STEPP Office at Colorado State University.
This is a summary of our eligibility requirements and Melanies current status in meeting these requirements:
Eligibility Requirement to Student Teacher through the CSU Educator Licensing Program Status Cumulative GPA of a 2.75 Meets the requirement. (3.465 CSU GPA) All grades in content and education courses must be C or above to start the student teaching experience. (Incomplete grades are not acceptable and will be considered as a course not taken.) Meets the requirement. Application to student teach submitted and signed by advisor. The application is on-file in the CSU STEPP Office. Background check has been completed through the programs approved processes and by the Colorado Department of Education, CBI, and FBI. Meets the requirement.
Based upon the above, Melanie is eligible to be considered for a student teaching placement at this time.
