Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Clean India Pledge

Cleanliness Drive under Swacch Bharat Abhiyan marked the celebrations of 145
th
birth
anniversary of father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi. Paying homage to one of Bapus favorite
tenets- Cleanliness is next to Godliness.- a cleanliness drive was organized.
Poster making competition,creative writing, planting of saplings and setting up vegetable
gardens were among the activities held on 30
th
September, 2014. Teachers shared their wealth of
knowledge about these plants to the students.The school gardeners looked on and offered
friendly tips to ensure that each sapling was carefully tended. Students of DPSG pledged to keep
its campus and neighbourhood clean. Students were also instilled about healthy life style.
