Dear Parents,

My name is Bethany Michels. Im currently a senior at Pittsburg State University. I

graduate in December of this year. Im majoring in Early Childhood Unified which this degree
allows me to work with ages from birth to third grade, typically developing and or special
education. I have had plenty of experience with children from all ages. I started babysitting in Jr.
High and as I grew older I have been given more opportunities. In my hometown, Pleasanton
Kansas, Im a leader in the nursery. Throughout my college career I have observed in a 3

grade,

st
grade, preschool, and infant classroom. I student taught at Little Gorillas Preschool in 2013.
This year I was placed with Mrs. Guiles for my professional semester for student
teaching. The first couple months I will be observing your child and slowly taking on tasks and
lessons. By the end of the semester I will be teaching alone. Im looking forward to getting to
know your child personally. Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to work with your child.

My mother is a dental assistant and also works for an oral surgeon.
I have two dachshunds. One female, Chloe and one male, Willie.
