2. Activity night: We will check with SAD, Student Counsel, and Honor Society to assess
interest. This takes place homecoming weekend. Will discuss at next meeting.
Halloween Dance: This is usually for high school level students. Again we will check on turn

Volleyball: Girls Volleyball team wants to be able to sell food at games to raise money for camp
and travel expenses for all the team members. Mr. Haberli will investigate this topic in more
detail and get back to us. This may not be a PTSO matter. We will know more on Wednesday,
Oct. 10
th
after he has a meeting and talks with our athletic director (see other, at end of
minutes).
Open Gym: We currently have an open gym which is run off a grant that will end in December.
This seem to be a BIG hit with the students. When we sent out a questionnaire to all students
this was one of the common responses we received. PTSO will look into continuing this when
the grant ends in December. We will discuss this more during the next meeting. We
mentioned maybe once a month. PTSO will provide water and chaperones.
Members/Officers: NEED MORE MEMBERS and most acutely need a treasurer. Denise E.
Rydell is the new secretary.
Picture Day: Sept. 25
th

- Bonnie (president) will talk with Peggy Harrison, who has offered her services for the
past few years. She may have volunteers in mind for the job.
Other: A few parents discussed the need for more attention placed on modified sports and the
possibility of starting a Booster Club for all modified sports. This piggy backs on the Volley
ball issue discussed earlier in our meeting. Mr Haberli is going to bring this up at a special
meeting he is having on Tuesday, Sept. 9
th
and get back to us.
