Resolution

To activate a new Business Function you can follow the steps below:
1. Create a backup of your system
In most cases, it is not possible to revert the changes made by the activation of the Switch
Framework settings
2. Log on to the development system with your SAP_ALL authorization
3. Disable all batch jobs
4. Close the system for all other users
After perform these preventive actions you can start with activation process in SFW5
transaction.
l Flag column "Planned Status" for required Business Function
l Hit Activate Changes
This is the step responsible to activate the business functions; here it is important to make sure
that all business functions flagged are correct because deactivation wont be possible
afterwards. Once you hit the "Activate Changes" button in application toolbar, the system will
start a background job responsible to activate all necessary objects involved within the selected
switches. This job is called SFW_ACTIVATE_SF0X.
If you only save this change, system wont start activation job and business function will remain
off.

Once job finishes you can check again transaction SFW5. It will display all activated objects with
light bulb turned on.
