Original Pepper Second Year Third Year Fourth Year Fifth Year

1) In the original pepper there were 148 seeds.
2) After five generations there were 71008211968 pepper plants.
3)
4) Environmental factors affecting populations:
a. Predator/Prey relationships
b. Climate change
c. Exploitation
d. Natural disasters
e. Invasive species
5) There would definitely be some changes. Predator/prey relationships can affect the growth of a
population, or even prevent it depending on the relationship. Climate change can cause species
to move to other areas, it can also kill a species, like for plants, if they dont have the right type
of climate, they wont be able to grow. Exploitation can use up or biologically change a species.
The way that humans test and now have biologically enhanced crops changes the species, or
over using can lead the loss of a species. Natural disasters can cause fragmentation of species,
or even in extreme cases cause extinction. And invasive species can drive out or kill a
population of a species, like weeds to plants or bacteria, viruses or other parasites for animal
populations.
