Passepartout meet a few bandits who have kidnapped
a daughter of a wealthy merchant, Aouda during their
ride on an elephant through the Indian forest. They
decide to rescue her. They cut open the wall of the hut
and creep into it to save her. When Aouda wakes up,
she is grateful to them. Phileas even offers to take her
with them to Hong Kong to look for her relative.

a group of outlaws. The outlaws attack the engineer
and he is unconscious. Therefore, the train is speeding
without a driver. Passepartout is brave to pull the
safety chain from the engine car. Finally, the rest of the
train comes to a stop in front of the Fort Kearney
station.
