This letter recommends Quang Thanh Trinh for a graduate scholarship. The letter writer, Dr. Le Minh Thang from Hanoi University of Technology, confirms that Trinh was one of the best students in his classes on natural gas processing and motion control. Trinh completed an engineering traineeship investigating DSP applications and finished his bachelor's thesis with the grade of "very good" under Dr. Thang's supervision. Dr. Thang sees potential in Trinh as a young scientist and believes a scholarship would allow him to further develop himself, so he fully supports Trinh's scholarship application.

To whom it may concern Letter of recommendation Hanoi, February 11, 2012 This letter is to confirm that Mr. Trinh, Quang Thanh, student at the Department of Organic and Petrochemical Technology, School of Chemical Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam, is very much suitable to become awarded with a scholarship for his graduate study from 2014. I know him since 2012 while my lectures in "Natural and Petroleum Gas Processing" and "Specific Problems in Motion Control'. In the phase for 2-month engineer traineeship he finished the investigation with the topic "Architecture of DSP TM5320 Family and Practical Applications" in my institute. He was always one of the best students. Under my supervision, Mr. Trinh finished his bachelor thesis "Control Structure with Direct Decoupling for the Doubly-Fed Induction Generator Including Saturation Effect", and got his academic degree Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in automatic control with the grade "very good" in the summer 2012. I see in Mr. Trinh, Quang Thanh an young follow-up scientist. A scholarship would offer Mr. Trinh the chance to develop himself. Therefore, I support his application without any restriction and with my deepest conviction that he is one of the best candidates for such a scholarship.
