Recently we experienced a situation where a veteran employee was finishing up a project, and was performing work in the immediate area of a terminal strip while the system was energized, he mis- handled a tool which resulted in shorting to taking place. Fortunately the employee was not injured, but it did unfortunately result in system damage. Safety is always the #1 priority. This Safety Alert is a reminder that you are not to work inside a cabinet, gantry, overhead system while is it energized. This applies to all employees.
