MYP Design is an ongoing subject in Middle School. It will be facilitated by a number

of teachers from different disciplines. Each semester of the subject applies the
Design Cycle with increasing complexity.
The idea is, that creating and storing all of the work completed in a specifically
designed website will allow students to reference previous work and build on their
documented skills and knowledge.
It is felt that this way of documenting and storing students work will also provide an
easy reference for teachers and enable them to provide immediate feedback to
students. The creation of a website or e-portfolio is believed to be an effective way
of tracking students progress in this subject over many years.
It can assist students to keep their work more organised, reducing the inevitable loss of
paper work, and enable their learning to become more visible. This method of data
storage will also decrease the drain on the environment by using less paper.

WEBSITE DESIGN BRIEF
Im going to create a website that is going to enable my teachers to look at my
work and my ongoing work. They will able to give me feedback about my work
and how to make it better and achieve higher marks, they will be able to track
my work from year 8 to year 10. This will hold all my work that I will do in design;
this will also hold all feedback from teachers.
This website will be easy to access my work and will use some colours but not
too many. This will all be related to my work and for IT design. The website will be
easy on the eye and the colours will be relevant to the work. The website will be
constantly up dated with work done so the teacher can see the work down in
the past classes. The work and information will be easy to find in website with
links from the main page. There will also be additional info providing info about
the work.
