USAGE OF DERMATOGLYPHIC AND DISCRIMINANT ANALYSIS
FOR DEFINITION OF HUMAN SEX BELONGING
V.N.Zvyagin, O.I.Galitskaya, A.G.Cidorenko
Finger-marks of left and right palms of Russians and Ukrainian (male - 116 and female - 116) have been studied. Statistical treatment discovered sexual dimorphism. There was estimated diagnostic model for examination of left, right and both
palms at one time. Accuracy of diagnostic by one palm was 67,7-70,7%, by both palms 76,3%. Complex usage of diagnostic
models allows estimating human sex belonging in 75-80%.
Key words: palm dermatoglyphic, sexual dimorphism, canonical discriminant analysis.
