The charges against Macbeth at the trial are three counts of first-degree murder

for the death of Duncan and the two guards. He is charged for contracted murder for
hiring murderers to kill Banquo. After the Macbeth Trial, We, the jury, have reached our
conclusion. Macbeth has been found guilty with two counts of first-degree murder of the
guards but not guilty for the death of Duncan and Banquo.
The Jury has found Macbeth not guilty of the first-degree murder and treason for
the death of King Duncan. The reason we came to this decision is solely based on the fact
that there is no hard evidence supporting these accusations. Lady Macbeth also confessed
to planning the murder, but claimed that Macbeth refused to do it. In addition, we must
look to the morale side of this situation. Macbeth had an undying loyalty towards Duncan
according to Banquos testimony. After being given a new title for his bravery, what
would make him want to murder his king? Due to the lack of evidence by the crown
attorney, Macbeth is found not guilty of treason and the murder of King Duncan.
The Jury has found Macbeth guilty of two counts of first-degree murder of the
two guards that guarded King Duncan at the night of the murder. The testimony by
Macduff showed that Macbeth openly admitted that he killed the guards. Macbeth admits
in killing the guards but blames it on his anger. I personally think that this sentence
should be reduced. According to United States Sentencing Guidelines in which Canadian
law is based on, If the victim's wrongful conduct contributed significantly to provoking
the offense behavior, the court may reduce the sentence below the guideline range to
reflect the nature and circumstances of the offense. Therefore Macbeths sentence in
prison should be reduced and even adding the possibility of release by parole onto the
sentencing.
The Jury has found Macbeth not guilty of Banquos murder. The witnesses
brought by the crown attorney could not identify any of the murderers. Under Canadian
law guidelines, contracted murder is defined by an arrangement between two people
where money or anything of value is passed from one individual to the next in return for
causing the death of a person indirectly or directly. There is no evidence that the
murderers received any type of payment and acted on their on wills. The murderers chose
to follow through Macbeths outburst in which Macbeth claims had no ill intention.
After careful deliberations, we the jury, have found Macbeth, The Thane of
Glamis and Cawdor and the King of Scotland, guilty on two counts of murder. On the
other hand, Macbeth has been found not guilty of the deaths of Duncan and Banquo.
