Digital
Divide
The term digital divide is
used to describe a gap
between those who have
ready access to
information and
communication technology
and the skills to make use
of those technology and
those who do not have the
access or skills to use
those same technologies
within a geographic area,
society or community. It is
an economic and social
inequality between groups
or persons.
Isaac has a personal connection to this, as his family
sponsors a child in Africa. The child is living in a very
secluded and technologically undeveloped setting. So
he is unable to communicate with the child any way
other than by courier mail. This does divide Isaac and
the child. They cant connect the same way he and his
North American friends.

Definition: A short form for popular culture
which is the culture of the people. this term
often refers to current cultural trends that are
spread by commercial mass media.
One example would be
businesses that that are global
that are all over the world like
McDonalds and KFC and amny
others.

shows you watch!
