Framing Your Thoughts

Sentence Frame
Barebones Sentence
A barebones sentence only has 2 parts

The first is the subject, the who or the what

The second is the action
The subject word in a sentence is a noun.

A noun is a:

Person, place, or thing
object animal
Person Place Thing
boy zoo forest cat pen library children farm
cup bike monkey grandma Jake Boston road teacher

Physical Action Mental Action
sleeps dreams walks wonders
reads blinks jumps hugs
hopes climbs thinks hops
Here is an example!!
Kelly builds a sandcastle.
Monkeys climb trees
Justine and Megan play
The students and teachers sang
The dog barks and growls
The children laugh and play
