THE ANSONU\ BOARD OF ALDERMEN APPROVTNG THE NAMING OF THE FOOTBALL
PRACI'ICE FIELD AT NOLAN FTELD AFTER JACK HUNT
This Resolution is introduced by ol!'ynembers of the Ahsonio Board of Aldermen.
WHEREAS, purs;ant
to Section 9 3 of the City Charter the Ansonia Board of Aldermen have the power to
regulate or char ge the names of city parks; and
WHEREAS, the lmsonia Board of Recreation has voted to narne the football practice fietd at Nolan field
after Jack Hunt; and
wHEREAS,
the lrnsonia Board of Aldermen recognizes the significant civic contribution Jack Hunt made
as coach of the l\nsonia football
.:eam;
and
WHEREAS,
the l,nsonia Board of Aldermen seek to preserve
the legacy and memory of Jack Hunt for
future generations
of Ansonia reliidents;
so BE lr RESOLVED, the Ansonia Board of Aldermen hereby approves the naming of the football
PraCtice
fields arrd the COACH JAcK HUNT MEMORIAL PRACTICE FIELD.
