Hazel Gill was born in Perryton, Texas.
She had a large family; she was one of seven children.
The family moved to Amarillo, Texas where she graduated
from high school and met her future husband. Hazel also
attended college in Canyon, Texas. After she married, she
worked part time in a drugstore. But her growing family, four
boys and a girl, kept her home for a while. Hazels husband moved the family to
Houston for his work, but the family moved back to Fort Worth in a years time. Ha-
zel says she didnt care for Houston!
Hazel also worked as a nurses aide in a hospital before doing private nursing for
twenty years at a retirement home.
She is very proud of her ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Hazel has lived in the same retirement community for eighteen years and first came
to the Center in 1994. She is always friendly and loving to her friends at the Center.
We are so glad to have Hazel with us!


We keep all of our Center members in our thoughts and prayers, especially Marcy
Fletcher, and Billie Hill . Please let us know if your Center friends can be of help to
any of you!
An AARP Defensive Driving course
will be offered on Thursday, Oct. 30.
The cost is $15. for AARP members
and $20. for non members. The class
begins at 9:00.
