in elementary school it was my favorite class and I contribute that to my teacher. She was fun, energetic, and en- couraging. When we would finish a project she made the whole class feel that their work was a master- piece. Our teacher would reserve the dis- play case in the front of the entrance and hang all of our art work. As I got older the art teachers werent as exciting and fun but still tried to encourage us to reach our full art potential. The projects were bigger and the amount of time it took to finish a project was longer. But in middle school you started to see what you could do if you tool the time to do the work the right way. High school art class was my favorite. We had the chance not only to paint, but work with clay, paper pulp and so much more that we havent worked with before. Seeing the end of every project in my class was the best memory I have of my art history. EVERY project always came out unbelievably good. The teacher would take her time explaining and showing the class what to do and how to do it so our projects came our as well as we want- ed them to. My experiences with art has always been a good one. Not just in an art class room but in all classes. Today I dont spend as much time as id like to on art but I know when it comes time to have my own classroom I have plenty of ideas to take from. When I have my own classroom I will be sure to incorpo- rate art into lessons because I know how hard it is to not be able to understand content unless you can either put your hands on it or visually see it.
