PERSONS MASQUERADING AS ODPP STAFF

It has come to our attention that certain unscrupulous individuals are
masquerading as Ofce of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) staf and
are extorting money from unsuspecting members of the public
!hese fraudsters call members of the public claiming to be ODPP staf and
threaten to prosecute them on corruption related ofences should they fail to
pay certain amounts of money "lternatively# they demand monies
purportedly for the $ling or termination of cases
%e ta&e this opportunity to notify the public that ODPP being a public ofce#
does NOT charge for any of its services "nyone therefore see&ing monies
for 'hatever service# or threatening a member of the public is a criminal and
should be reported to the nearest police station# the address belo' or the
nearest ODPP ofce
