Shot/Music/Dialogue/Location We plan to use a medium shot like this for our vox pop interviews. This is so that the audience can clearly see the reaction of the interviewees. We have chosen to place our subject to the left or right of the image and have them facing the other side of the camera to create the idea that the subject is responding to the interviewer and the camera is not being noticed. We will most likely include a montage of vox pops at the beginning of our documentary- and have no voiceover whilst the interviewee is speaking. We will use quick cuts to shorten the vox pops. We have decided to use a low angle close-up shot of the TV screen in our colleges reception. We noticed when walking past that our college is a member of many different platforms of social media! therefore this shows that social media is everywhere. We will take a shot of this and speed it up during editing so it is only on for a short period of time. We will probably have a voiceover playing whilst this clip is on or maybe an expert interview and use it as a cut away. This is a long shot. We plan to use this as a cutaway or at the beginning of our expert interview with either "ulie #aitland or Tom $rawec. This establishes the scene and also gives background information on the expert! by showing their day to day environment. We will pan during the clip to show the whole of the building as it has more effect that a still shot. We will also film a group of people on the computers! probably on social media sites! and these will be college students. This footage will probably be played at the same time as the narration or again as a cut away during an interview. %t will only be a few seconds long before cutting to another clip. This will be a medium shot. %t shows that social media is accessible almost anywhere and therefore can be helpful or distracting.
