George S Patton lived passionately for the military, he was a military genius. He made up early in
his life that he wanted to be in the military. His father and grandfather was his role models
because they had been in previous wars. Graduated from the United States Military Academy
1909. Known for carrying pistols with ivory handles and was very temper mental.
This author was the only person who was able to get into Pattons letters and notes.
People knew Patton by his macho swagger carrying his pistols but there was more to the man
than people seemed. Had a sincere drive to succeed but then at the same time he didnt want his
unmanly qualities to be seen. He was sensitive and emotional as well as intelligent.
Patton was an extremely hard worker at everything that came across him he encouraged
many of his troops by his speeches some called it almost
hypnotizing them. People would say that his speeches were so
energizing that they would go to hell and back. He was able to win
wars with the chances not high for them because of his speeches. He
was considered the best combat general of the modern time. George
Patton has become known to be fascinating and sympathetic person.
He died because of a car wreck and even today people are
trying to figure out how he died. The car wreck he was in was only
a fender bender but he hit his head and died 12 days later.
