This document summarizes the specifications and design of a 7-element 10dBi yagi antenna for 700MHz. It lists the lengths and diameters for each element. It also discusses someone's experience building a similar antenna, describing how they attached the coaxial cable to the driven element without cutting a hole in the coupling by screwing the wires directly in. It recommends threading the cable through the tail pipe before attaching the wires and drilling any necessary holes first to avoid damaging the cable.

Its a "20mm F/F coupling", found with the irrigation risers in the gardening section at Bunnings. There's a similar part Philmac socket BSP ", in the plumbing section; that one has a hex shape on the outside perimeter so you can tighten it with a spanner. The first YAGI I made this way (Audionut 850), I cut a hole in the coupling to make it easy for fat fingers to attach the wires to the driven element in situ. I then glued the offcut back over the hole. You just need to remember to thread the lead through the tail pipe first! (Assuming you have a connector larger than your pipe diameter) Otherwise you'll have to unscrew the wires from the driven element to get it right. And before you do that you should drill all necessary holes in the tail pipe! Or your drill will make short work of your lead...
