POST BUDGET CHANGES
The Budget Commiee analyzed the spending habits of
Post 21 over the last three years. Based on those reports
andfactoringinchanges,a6monthbudgetwaspresented
to the Execuve Board. Modicaons and changes are as
follows:
Monthly reoccurring expenses (i.e. ulies, cable, trash
pickup) were grouped together. Items that are
contractually ending and could be reduced were tallied
and researched to see if we could reduce that monthly
expense. Numbers will reect a signicant change from
previousbudgets.
Americanism/Donaons each 6 month budget will plan
fordonaonstobemadefromthePostbutnotoexceed
$5,000. The Post will no longer make on the oor
donaons without consulng the Budget Commiee. A
moon can be made on the oor for consideraon, but
the approval of funds will be based on what is available.
*Note: one item that is already considered is the $4,000
toPost21Baseballteams,leaving$1,000remainingtobe
donatedorrolledovertothenext6monthbudget.
Post 21 Emergency Fund this is a new item. This sets
aside money for the Post to use towards Building and
Equipment repairs that the Budget Commiee know are
imminent.
Goals each enty (Kitchen, Bar, Membership, Sales,
Dance, Loery, and Tower) was given a goal to achieve.
This will help meet our overall budget at the Post and
avoidbeinginthenegave.
This6monthbudgetanditschangeswereapprovedduring
the October Post Monthly Meeng. Moving forward, the
Budget Commiee encourages Post Members to bring
