1- Subject: Delay in Installation of Kerb Stone

R/Sir,

It is to inform that construction of road trench & Culverts falling under the scope of other
Contractor M/s Choudhery for the Contract MDR-40 is underway. During execution of
said construction works by the other Contractor, it is almost impossible for us to resume
fixing of Kerb Stones, causing substantial delay in execution of our works. As the subject
delay is not under our control, therefore, we reserve the right to claim additional time and
cost being incurred by us due to above stated hindrance.

2- Subject: Disruption Posed by Locals
R/Sir,

It is to inform that during execution of activities fixing of Kerb Stones and construction of
Roundabout, some local persons came and stopped the works forcefully. They were
insisting to establish an additional U-turn prior to execute ongoing construction activities
as it would be quite difficult for them to approach the road in the absence of said structure.
It is pertinent to mention that only (03 Nos.) U- Turns are included in our Contract.
Establishment of the forth one will be extra-contractual so the Contractor could not
execute such works unless the Engineer directed us so to do. As the subject delay is not
under our control, therefore, we reserve the right to claim additional time and cost being
incurred by us due to above stated hindrance.
