    This study examined the effects of inoculating plant growth promoting bacteria on nickel uptake by Indian mustard plants. The researchers inoculated Indian mustard seeds and plants with bacteria strains Pseudomonas fluorescens and Bacillus megaterium. They found that both bacterial inoculations significantly increased the dry weight and nickel content of Indian mustard plants compared to uninoculated control plants.
