Which types of people were
affected?
How wide (geographically) was the
impact?
How were peoples lives affected?
How long were people affected for?
How were institutions, power
relationships changed?
Was it expected?
Significance over time

What was the long term impact?

Structure

What is your overall argument?
Limited information on context (do NOT over tell the story!)

Paragraphs:
Every paragraph addresses the Q!
Every paragraph develops the answer!
Every paragraph has evidence (from a number of sources referenced!)
Conclusion:
There should be a mini conclusion at the end of each paragraph
The main conclusion should be supported ALL through the essay
The question should be answered clearly
Referencing
Every quote should be referenced EITHER:
