Canadiancitizen,
residentofBCforatleast6monthsimmediatelyprecedingvotingday,
residedinQuesnelforthepast30days,orownedrealpropertyinQuesnelforthepast30
Days,
nototherwisedisqualifiedbylawfromvoting.

Section52(2)oftheLocalGovernmentActallowsstudentstovoteinQuesnelsLocal
GovernmentElection,eveniftheydonotnormallyresideinQuesnel,butareresidingin
Quesneltoattendaneducationalinstitution.Forstudentswhonormallyresideoutsideof
Quesnel,butaregoingtoschoolattheQuesnelCNC/UNBCcampusyoucanvoteifyoumeet
thefollowingcriteria:
18yearsofageorolder,
Canadiancitizen,
residentofBCforatleast6monthsimmediatelyprecedingvotingday,
youareattendinganeducationalinstitutioninQuesnel,
youmustvoteonlyonce,eitherinQuesnelorwhereyounormallyreside,butnotboth.
Bringtothepollingstation2piecesofidentificationthatcombined,showname,civicaddress
andsignature.
