Dr. Hamdi Chaouk is the Founder and Managing Partner for Aviation Minds. He has profound expertise in the aviation business with over 25 years work experience. He specialist focus is on aviation strategies and transformation, process management and optimization. He has also gained extensive experience in international management and corporate development. He has lead and directed projects worldwide. His leadership role in high level international projects gives him a multidisciplinary and multinational view in his approach. His expertise includes airline and airport strategy projects with a focus on restructuring and business development. Furthermore, he has taken a lead role in projects involving drafting of aviation laws and regulations. He has represented Lebanon on ICAO council for more than 10 years time.

Development of a Corporate Strategy and Business plan for Rabigh Wings Aviation Academy, KSA: Lead consultant. Restructuring the Sudan CAA and performing the oversight on the separation between the Safety regulator and the Airport operation holding company: Lead advisor. Restructuring the cargo airline Trans Mediterranean Airways (TMA), Lebanon and handling the Business plan: Lead consultant.
Qualifications: PhD in Aeronautical Engineering: University of Sydney (Australia). Lecturer of Aeronautical Engineering and Aviation Management courses: University of Balamand (Lebanon). Member in the British Royal Aeronautical Society (MRAeS). President of the Middle East Aviation Research Society (MEARS). Executive Member on Board of different aviation corporations.
