When the NVD '02' test is run, it could fail with 0057 error code. This will most likely be an
NVD fail. This would have been run through the scheduler.
Run utility E5 on the error and check if NVD test is listed. If it is listed, run the 02 test on
that director. If the 02 test fails follow solution for 0257 errors EMC 50281 .
If the 02 test passes this is recovered.

Test 02 : NVD Ram Address Test fails.

assistance. Please quote the solution ID.

Run Test 02, if it fails, run again via environmentals (8C,0,01130002,'ENVT'). If still failing
replace the director. If it passes it is a recovered error and an external interrupt occurred on
the CPU during the 02 test. Fix 15669 (5568.42.16A) will prevent this flavor of this error. (If
accompanied by an 870B, see solution emc32099)

Director slice took a single-bit memory error in either its NVD or pipe-machine.
Field Service: On the director slice that posted the xx50 or xx57 error, issue an 02, test. If
the 02, test fails with another xx50 or xx57, then contact the Customer Support Center for
assistance and quote this solution ID.
If a xx50 or xx57 error occurs on a Symmetrix 4 (3/5000 Series) or Symmetrix 5 (8000
Series), refer to solutions emc50281 and emc9336. If the error is a 1C50 error, and the 02,
test passes, look for other solutions containing 1C50 errors.
