Our fall party and Book
Character Day will be on
Friday, October 31st. Please
help your child dress as his or
her favorite book character.
The party will be at 1:30.

A Peek at Our Week

Reading/Language Arts: This week we will be
on unit three, week one in Wonders reading
series. Our phonics skill for this week is a_e
(cake, tale, game). In grammar we are learning
about verbs.

Math: We will continue Chapter 4: Subtraction
Strategies in our math textbook. We will review
counting back and begin breaking apart
numbers.

Social Studies: This week we will continue our
study of pumpkins. We will also be doing several
Halloween themed reading, writing, and math
activities.

Science: We will continue to learn about the
human body.
