Covenants Committee Minutes


Tuesday, November 4, 2009

Meeting convened at 7:15pm with the following members in attendance:

• David McLoughlin – Committee Chairperson


• Deborah Davis – Committee Co-Chairperson
• Jean Bell – Committee Member
• Danielle Desalu – Committee Member
• Dan Glicos – Committee Member
• Blair Sawyer – Committee Member

Hearings were held regarding continuing covenant violations with the following results:

• 6904 Witton Circle – Per homeowners’ emailed request, the Committee agreed to the
November 15, 2009 deadline date to have deck and fence painted.
• 6536 Wallasey – Charged $50.00 (single offense) for continued basketball hoop
violation.
• 6894 Witton Circle – Charged $900.00 ($10/day, not to exceed 90 days) for continued
unpainted deck violation.

Application for exterior modifications were reviewed with the following result:

• 6708 Lucas Point Loop – Approval pending site inspection from covenants member.
$50.00 charge for installing deck prior to approval.

Homeowner email dispute regarding friendly reminder violation with the following result:

• 6729 Stanwick – Current landscape materials ‘grandfather” in as homeowner


landscaped prior to August 2009 D&M Standards revision.

Discussion items with following results:

• Committee request of Management to include “Top Ten Covenant Violations” on


community website, with Pool Pass forms and in Newsletters.
• Committee extended invitation for any Board Member to attend Covenant Committee
meetings.
• Committee request that Management refine “House of the Season” criteria and to
have input regarding decision.
• “Extended Use” definition tabled until next meeting to allow Committee to canvas
neighborhood.
• All Committee members who have served more than one year were requested to
submit Statement of Interest for Board review.
