We have received a lot of positive feedback from our customers
about the addition of the Rockland Bakery department in our store, and like I have mentioned previously, the store needs to rally behind the Bakery, and really show our customers that we mean business as it relates to presenting a great store to shop. We have done a nice job merchandising the store tastefully, our in-stock position has been consistent, and our backroom standards have improved quite a bit, I am now asking everyone in the store, to really step up the customer engagement part of the business. We sometimes take for granted this basic part of the business, we need to all smile, greet our customers, ask them if they need help, show a sense of urgency, be aware of our surroundings, especially in our service departments, etc. Our competition does not do a good job with this, and we really need to take advantage. I look forward to seeing the increased focus in this area, and I look forward to seeing the good customer 1-800s, and mystery shops.
