VERMICULTURE AND VERMICOMPOSTING TECHNOLOGY

Vermiculture and vermicomposting are simple environment-friendly

technologies that support the government’s objectives in sustainable
agriculture and waste management. The vermicomposting technology
performed well in producing organic fertilizer because of the presence of
beneficial microorganisms and most of the essential elements needed by
crops.
Earthworm production, on the other hand help in reducing the volume of
waste and organic garbage and turning it into rich soil amendment. It also
