GOAL 1: Increase interest in the Directing aspect of my program.

Sub-goal 1: Become a stronger more knowledgeable Director
Strategy 1.1 Take the Senior Directing course 483 Fall 2015 University of

Professional & Secondary productions.

Measures: I will develop a portfolio which will include reviews, production notes, production photos,
reflections and any other directing related feedback. I will also be able to measure my success partly by
the grade I receive after completing 483.

opportunities for students to learn about directing. Attendance in Directing 25/35 can be used to
measure student interest in the program

GOAL 2: Increase student achievement in Vocal ability & musicality

Sub-goal 1: Become an expert Voice Teacher.
Strategy 1.1 Work with a vocal coach to develop a set of

Measures: I will create a professional voice Journal to measure my progress. I will also receive
formative feedback during the Voice Intensive. I will also have students complete surveys after I
have completed a vocal coaching session with them.

Sub-goal 2: Increase the amount of voice work completed in the class room and during
main stage productions.
Strategy 2.1 Help the Drama 20s to create individual vocal
warms ups that they can do at the start of a class
or a rehearsal.

Measures: By Further developing both summative and formative assessment, as well as increasing
the amount of Vocal work in the classroom and on stage, I should be able to see significant
improvement in students ability to use their voices effectively on stage.
