BACKGROUND

Six years of experience in project design and
development, as well as experience in urban planning, I
have gained working on architectural projects and urban
plans across Western Balkan.
I have a five-year degree in Architecture from the
University of Belgrade, Serbia (Dipl.Ing.Arh.) and hold
architectural licences in Serbia and Bosnia and
Herzegovina.
After starting experience during college years as
Architectural consultant working on preparation of
preliminary interior designs and 3d models, I started my
professional career in Civil Engineering Institute IG,
where I advanced from practitioner to leading Project
Architect in Banja Luka office.
Some of the major tasks at Institute were:
Preparation of preliminary and detail designs of
architectural projects;
Independent and team work on variety of projects
across public and private sector;
Review of project documentation;
Surveillance over buildings construction;
As I was named team leader and Project architect since
January 2008, beside above mentioned tasks I was in
charge for following:
Proposal preparation for public procurements;
Team and project coordination;
Coordination of schedules and workloads;
Organization of client and team meetings and design
presentation;
I was simultaneously working on interior designs for
various private investors.
Especially important part of the work in IG was on
reparation and change of use of the public buildings
devastated during Bosnian war as well as work on other
buildings for public and social sector.
In November 2008, I joined AG Infoplan in Montenegro,
where I have specialized in the field of Urban and
spatial planning. As urban designer and planner I worked
on various plans of urban development in the area under
the protection of UNESCO at Montenegrin coast. As a part
of the planning team at AG Infoplan, I participated in
public debates and worked as a coordinator with
municipalities, public companies, and other stakeholders.
Within the company I worked as a local consultant for
international cooperation. In particular, I cooperated on
a few occasions with AECOM London, where I was involved
in the local part of the project management procedures,
while simultaneously reviewing a master plan and the
design conformity to Montenegro local codes, technical
rules and vernacular architecture.
After leaving AG Infoplan, I took part in international
workshops in ALBANIA in front of NGO Expeditio from
Montenegro, dealing with problems of urban planning.
Consecutively, I worked as a design architect on numerous
projects for various private investors. November 2012
onwards, I had been working as a freelance architect for
a construction and design companies in Bosnia and
Herzegovina. Simultaneously I worked as an External
Expert for EACEA for EUs Culture Programme in 2013,
where I evaluate projects within my area of expertise.
Currently I work as a senior project architect at Harper
Downie Montenegro, a multinational company.
