To whom it may concern,

Valeria Balderrama is a substitute teacher who is currently working to complete her teaching
credential. She works very closely with the students and staff at Marshall Elementary.
In the classroom, Ms. Balderrama immediately develops warm and nurturing relationship with
the students and remains professional. She works with students K-8. Through her position as a
substitute teacher she has the opportunity to work with a wide range of students, some
working above grade level and others with very specific learning disabilities. She uses a variety
or teaching practices to meet the diverse learning styles of the students with whom she works.
She keeps the students engaged and motivated.
Ms. Balderrama demonstrates effective classroom management skills and maintains discipline
with students. She makes sure that they remain on task in all settings.
Ms. Balderrama is responsible and dependable. She is an effective teacher who is always
thinking about what is best for the students. She will be asset to any staff she joins. Please do
