This document outlines a soil liquefaction study to determine the required pull load for pulling a pipeline from offshore to onshore. It will analyze pipeline design drawings, geotechnical data, and environmental factors to calculate the maximum pull load and ensure it does not exceed the proposed winch capacity. The scope of work includes pull load calculations, analyzing buoyancy unit requirements, and delivering a shore pull analysis report.

CTR NO.: 015 DATE: 21-Sep-14 TITLE: Soil Liquefaction Study
OBJECTIVE: To determine a required pull load for the shore pulling pipeline from offshore to onshore and as well demonstrate the adequacy of a proposed winch capacity to carry out the shore pull activity. In addition, the requirement of the buoyancy unit shall be investigated. INPUT REQUIRED: Pipeline approach and design drawings Geotechnical & geophysical survey data at shore approach region Environmental data Pipe lay barge details Winch specification and data Pull steel wire rope details Buoyancy bags details Client installation requirements, schematics and sequences SCOPE OF WORK: The shore pull analysis design shall be based on the following criteria: Preparation of calculations to determine maximum pipeline pull load due to sea bed friction and environmental load based on the pipeline / umbilical layout and laying method. Performing an analysis to investigate the requirement of buoyancy unit. This is to ensure that the maximum pull load will not exceed the proposed winch capacity. Preparation of the analysis report
