Vocabulary relating to economics

Economics - the branch of knowledge concerned with the production, consumption, and transfer of
wealth (to study); different economic aspects can also be called economics (the economics of
publishing).
Economy - the state of a country or region in terms of the production and consumption of goods and
services and the supply of money (national economy).
Economical - thrifty (a small, economical car).
Economic - relating to economics or the economy (the government's economic policy).
