maintenance/updating of eligibility register.

Preparation of statement of employees eligible to become PF/PS member to enable the
salary to commence EPF deductions and also to allot PF Account Numbers.
Computation of contribution amount and preparation of monthly challans for depositing
the PF/EPS/EDLI Challans amount in A/c No. I, A/C No. 2 , A/c No. 10, A/c No. 21 and A/c
No. 22 and handing over the challan to Accounts department within 3 days (or earlier)
from the date of receipt of salary/wages statement for preparation of cheque payable to
SBI A/c EPF .
Preparation of monthly returns in Form No. 12 A, including Form 5 and Form 10 for
submission to the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner.
Scrutiny of Forms 3-A in respect of each employee, completion of totalling work,
preparation of yearly returns in Form 6, preparation of reconciliation statement and
submission of contribution cards in Form 3-A along with yearly returns in Form 6 on or
before 30th April of each year.
Follow ups to obtain PF Annual Accounts Statement (PF Slips) in respect of individual
employees from the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner.
