Liquid thermal insulation was applied to a test section of a pipeline using a paint brush. Water was then circulated through the system using a pump to start heat conductor circulation. The heat conductor was heated using an electric heating boiler. Temperatures of the insulated delivery and return piping surfaces were measured, as was the water flow rate. Readings of temperature and flow rate were taken over time to measure heat transfer in the insulated test section, and then again in an uninsulated section for comparison.
