SRC Club Registrations

The Clubs registrations opened Started for the fall 2014 semester on the
22
nd
of September and continued till 24
th
September. All clubs placed
Registrations desks in the campus were administered professionally and added
glitz and glamour to the atmosphere. Each club had a unique phenomenon
outlook and hence attracted a number of students as potential members for the
club. This posed an important socialization process for the new batch as
extracurricular activities help rejuvenate the students and keep them well
rounded with the world around them. The registrations were a great success and
helped achieve the motive of gathering potential talent for the future. The next in
line was the process of auditions in which many students proved themselves in
the field of Photography, Acting, singing and debates as the right choice for clubs
and Students Resource Center. After the completion of registration and audition
process the orientation session for the new selected students was also held on 2
nd

of October 2014. The session was attended by all the existing and new members
of SRC. The Coordinator SRC Mr. Danyal Ahmed diligently highlighted the policies
and rules of SRC.

TDCP Workshop
TDCP (Tourism development Corporation of Punjab) in collaboration with
CIVITAN Club organized a workshop at Bahria University Lahore Campus on 20
th

October 2014. Mr. Usman Qureshi () and Mr. Nouman () were the guest speakers
at the session. The purpose of this workshop was to target the students and youth
towards the program launched by TDCP i.e. Tourism. This program aimed to
empower students by providing information and knowledge about tourism sector
and imparting appropriate and effective tourism education and training. This
awareness program is considered an integral program to and ensures that
Pakistan possesses a cadre of creative, capable and qualified people who can
contribute to a sustained and competitive tourist industry. The workshop was
attended by a number of students from all the departments. The presence of Sir
Osama Javed Butt graced the workshop when he he also presented souvenirs to
the guest speakers on behalf of Director Campus.
