Georgia Southern Celebrates Annual Homecoming!

Homecoming theme will be Superheroes, this years there will be new events added as well as
the traditional parade and football game.

Georgia Southern University theme will be Superheros With great power comes great
responsibility. Hail Southern! The University Programming Board (UPB) will host different
events on the Main Campus to welcome back alumni. While new events are being added we
will still be incorporating old homecoming favorites such as the Doo Dah step show and the
homecoming parade, homecoming chair, Tori Goehrig says.
Thousands of GSU alumni return to campus and join current students and community members
to celebrate homecoming.
I am excited to go to the homecoming parade and see how my old organizations are turning out
and what has changed about the university, Jay Sollar said.
UPS are proud to announce that Hypnotist Sailesha will be a part of entertainment. Sailesha does
live entertainment and comedic hypnosis. He is greeted all over the world as the Premiere
Hypnotist and his shows have been described as a cross between the best frat party you have
ever been to and a live concert.
On Nov 9. from 4:00pm- 7:00 pm, the parade will begin at Paulson Stadium and end at
Sweetheart Circle.

On Saturday at 2 oclock pm , GSU will be playing Howard University from Washington, D.C.
I am excited to see us play Howard and seeing all of the new faces that they bring down here,
