Leaving Mr.

Perurenas Classroom
Leaving Mr. Perurenas Classroom is a simple task. Just follow these rules.

1. DO NOT start packing up until Mr. Perurena directs you to. It is very disruptive to be doing
so when Mr. Perurena is still teaching.

Seriously, please dont start zipping up things, putting things away, etc. ahead of time. This
saves a few seconds at the most. Youre never late to your next class. You dont need those few
seconds. Its not a big deal. And most of you just lollygag around for longer than that anyway.
Heres a thought: SPEND A FEW MORE SECONDS AFTER YOU ARE DISMISSED
PACKING UP. Make up for that time by NOT TALKING SO MUCH

2. Those of you packing up early may earn a nice little pop quiz

Yes, I will give you quizzes. These will be completed during your detention period. Oh yeah, if
you pack up early, you get detention. When you are done with your quiz you will practice not
packing up.

Those who continue to have a problem packing up before I dismiss you will earn a detention is a
lower and more horrifying level of Detention Hall. Here, your punishment will simply be to pack
up. Except the backpack I give you to practice will be open on the bottom, so as soon as youre
done packing up everything will fall out and youll have to start all over again. And then
everything will fall out again and youll have to start at the beginning. You will be endlessly
packing up for all eternity! or at least until the lunch period is over.

3. Once you are all packed up, sit at your desk quietly until Mr. Perurena dismisses you. By
quiet, I mean quiet. Dont use your electronic devices. I dont want to see them. I dont care
what youre doing or not doing on them. If I see it, I will take it up. I will then spend your
detention period (Oh yeah, if I see you with an electronic device, you have detention)
dismantling your phone and probably losing most of the screws in the process. Why do they put
that air vent there?

4. The bell does not dismiss you. Mr. Perurena does.
5. Walk out of the classroom in an orderly fashion. Do not push and run like maniacs.

If you push and shove each other, I will block the door. If you push me, you shall not find the
forgiving, happy-go-lucky Mr. Perurena you see above.
