Indanthren Brown EG-N
Indanthren Brown EG-N is an IW vat dye with best levelling performance in exhaust processes, designed
to substitute Indanthren Brown 5170 (vat brown 55). It has a good overall fastness level with better
performance in chlorine fastnesses than Indanthren Brown 5170 and shows less staining of adjacent fibres
in washing tests.
Indanthren Brown EG-N is an excellent product for pale to medium brown shades. It is suitable for
exhaust and continuous processes on all cellulosic fibres. A special property is the solid shade dyeing of
CO/PA and the suitability for military articles with defined IR-reflectance properties.
