This week we are reading a play. We will focus on some vocabulary


words in this story. It would be helpful if you will reinforce the meaning of
these words at home with your child. Also, on this newsletter you will fnd
our spelling words for the week. Please practice these words at home as
well. The words in italics are our challenge spelling words. et!s have a

Irregular Plural Nouns
(ost nouns are changed from their singular forms to their plural forms by adding

%ome nouns, however, are made plural in other ways, such as by
changing their spelling. $or e'ample# tooth/teeth.
%ome nouns have the sae singular and plural !ors. $or
e'ample# sheep/sheep, fsh/fsh.
Plural forms that are made by one of these other methods are called
irregular plural nouns"
