    November 2014 Reminders

    Tuesday, 11/11 No School for Veterans Day



    Saturday, 11/15 Saturday School from 10 a.m. 12 noon
    Parents are encouraged to drop their children off and pick them up promptly at
    noon. Scholars should wear their uniform shirt.

    Friday, 11/21 November Birthday Celebrations

    *Thanksgiving Break is Monday 11/24 Friday, 11/28! (No School)

    UNIFORM UPDATES

    New cold weather uniform shirts are now on sale at the front desk!
    Navy Lead Academy long-sleeve cardigans - $20
    Gray long sleeve t-shirts - $12

    All scholars should arrive to school in uniform: a KIPP shirt & khaki
    bottoms.

    The following uniform rules are effective immediately to prevent
    distractions from learning, ensure that only KIPP scholars are in our building,
    and for safety:

    #1: No jeans except on your childs birthday.
    #2: Scholars may not wear their overcoats or non-navy colored jackets inside
    the building.
    #3: Scholars should always wear a KIPP shirt.

    To prevent getting cool, scholars may wear:
    KIPP cardigan/hoodie
    KIPP long-sleeve t-shirts
    Their own navy colored cardigan/hoodie.
    Their own long-sleeve shirt underneath their KIPP t-shirts
